YouTube Prank: Police Receive Report On Man Who Pulled Two Women’s Headscarves In Public In Viral Video

Police have received a report related to a YouTube prank video where a man is seen pulling on the headscarves of two women, according to a local newspaper.

Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Ashari Abu Samah said a man who uploaded the video has filed a police report on Monday (July 4). Based on the information received, Ashari said the video was made to gain attention on social media.

He added that the police have not received any report from the two women who were involved in the video.

“We are looking for the two women to record their statement on the incident,” he said.

In the video, the YouTuber can be seen ambushing two women in two separate encounters to pull on their headscarves. He then apologised to the women for his actions and claimed that he was just making content for a video.

Most users who reacted to the tweet also slammed the YouTuber’s actions in the video. There were users who tagged the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) urging them to conduct an investigation into the video.

The YouTuber later posted another video with his two “victims”, claiming that he had staged the whole incident with the two women as part of a “social experiment” to see how netizens would react. The prank video is no longer available on his channel.
