A young boy has drawn praise online after he was spotted directing traffic at a busy junction in Taman Tasik Prima, Puchong, following a traffic light malfunction on the night of Jan 22.
The incident occurred at around 9pm, when the boy, wearing a reflective vest, stood in the middle of the junction and used hand signals to guide vehicles from different directions.
In the video, he appeared calm and focused, helping cars take turns to move and ensuring traffic continued to flow smoothly despite the disruption.
It remains unclear how long the traffic light had been out of order or whether the authorities were alerted at the time.
