SHAH ALAM, July 1: The public has the opportunity to purchase basic necessities at low prices by visiting the Jualan Ehsan Rahmah (JER) sale at four locations today.
Starting at 10 AM, the sale, managed by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), will be held at Dapur Kinrara, Jalan Puchong, Bandar Puchong Jaya (Kinrara), and at Dewan Kampung Ahmad Razali (Dengkil).
The same sale is also scheduled to take place at Dataran PDT Klang (Pandamaran) and Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Jaya Sepakat (Sijangkang).
The JER initiative offers chicken at RM10 per bird, lean meat at RM10 per pack, grade B eggs at RM10 per tray, mackerel at RM6 per pack, five kg cooking oil at RM25, and five kg rice at RM13.
The program is scheduled to take place at more than 1,800 locations this year, not including the weekend cheap sales at Segi Fresh supermarket branches.
Previously, PKPS received the Quality Management Award for its outstanding success, including the management of the JER program. The agency is also recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for organizing the largest subsidized sale.
