PETALING JAYA: Sunway Property, the property division of Sunway Group, is close to achieving its 2021 sales target after recording encouraging sales from its recent “Always with You 2021” campaign.
In a statement, the developer said it had registered sales of RM553mil within two months of launching the campaign on Oct 15.
The campaign featured five of its newest developments designed for new norm living, namely, Sunway Serene, Sunway Velocity TWO, Sunway Belfield, Sunway Artessa and Sunway d’hill Residences.
With the encouraging sales, Sunway Property said the group was now closer to its 2021 sales target of RM2.2bil.
Sunway Property had earlier revised its sales target upward to RM2.2bil for 2021, after surpassing its initial sales target of RM1.6bil in the first half of the year.
Sunway Property central region executive director Chong Sau Min said the group attributed the success of the “Always with You 2021” campaign to the “renewed interest in houses that prioritise one’s wellbeing”.
He noted that all the new launches incorporated sustainable design considerations supported by lifestyle conveniences, better quality buildings, improved air quality, as well as cost-saving utilities such as energy and water.
“Each of the developments is strategically located with thoughtful designs, lush landscaping and new norm features including naturally ventilated lobbies, co-working spaces and other sustainable living features,” Chong said.
He added that the company has seen shifting consumer preferences since the lockdowns as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The “Always with You 2021” campaign, which will last until Dec 31, 2021, will allow purchasers to leverage on interest-free payments of up to 12 months for savings of up to RM23,000.
And in conjunction with the Home Ownership Campaign, which will end on Dec 31, 2021, buyers will also enjoy a waiver on the memorandum of transfer and loan stamp duty savings of up to RM32,000.
