Story Time with Emerging Readers: A Joyful Reading Experience for Young Minds
The Children’s Library invites young readers and their families to a delightful Story Time with Emerging Readers, a special session designed to nurture a love for reading from an early age. This engaging programme encourages children who are just beginning their reading journey to explore stories in a fun, supportive, and interactive environment.
Taking place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:15 am (MYT), the session will be held at B-07-01, IOI Boulevard, Jalan Kenari 5, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Puchong. The cosy library setting provides the perfect space for children to listen, participate, and discover the joy of books together with their peers.
During the session, children will be guided through carefully selected stories that are age-appropriate and engaging, helping to build confidence, improve listening skills, and spark curiosity. The programme also supports early literacy development by encouraging children to recognise words, follow narratives, and enjoy reading independently at their own pace.
