Smart Selangor Parking App: Social Distance Feature

Smart Selangor Parking (SSP) mobile app has a new feature to help motorist adapt to movement control order (MCO). It will alert user if they stand less than one metre away from another person to practise social distance. Social distance feature aim to help Health Ministry with contact tracing as it will store history of devices the app come into contact with. User can get new feature by update existing SSP app on mobile phone. User will be notified once SSP app is turned on and other device is detected in a range of 0.5m - 1.5m. It can be turned off if user did not want to receive notification on social distance.

The places that can use this app to pay parking include Petaling Jaya City Council, Sepang Municipal Council, Sham Alam City Council, Ampang Jaya Municipal Council, Kajang Municipal Council, Selayang Municipal Council, Subang Jaya Municipal Council, Kuala Selangor District Council, Kuala Langat District Council, Kuala Lumpur City Hall and Klang Municipal Council.
