SJK(T) Kinrara Students Shine on Global Stage with Triple Gold πŸ†

Four primary school pupils from SJK(T) Kinrara in Puchong have made Malaysia proud after winning three gold medals at international innovation competitions.

The young innovators, Aarthisha Thiban, Aatheesha Moorthy, Keshwinie Arvin Kumar, and Puraani Vivegan emerged as champions at both the World Sustainable Development Goal Challenge (WSDGC) 2025 and the World Innovation in STEM Competition (WINSTEM) 2025. They continued their winning streak by securing another gold at the Malaysia Young Scientists Organisation (MYSO) competition held in Bangkok.

Competing against nearly 1,000 participants from 92 teams, the group stood out with their creative and environmentally focused projects. One of their key innovations, a homemade hibiscus tea, promotes a healthy and affordable drink option using locally sourced ingredients while highlighting sustainability and hydration benefits.

They also explored biodegradable materials for growing indoor herbal plants, reinforcing their focus on eco-friendly solutions and home-based remedies. Their work reflects strong awareness of environmental issues and showcases impressive scientific thinking at a young age.

This remarkable triple-gold achievement highlights the growing potential of Malaysia’s young talents in STEM and sustainability, putting Puchong on the map as a hub for future innovators.
