KUALA LUMPUR: Registration for the second phase of the AstraZeneca opt-in vaccination will begin at noon this Sunday.
Coordinating Minister for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) Khairy Jamaluddin said registration can be made online at http://vaksincovid.gov.my.
“This is only for residents in the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor, Kuching and Miri who are 60 years old and above,” he said on Twitter today.
Khairy had earlier said that application for the second phase of the Astrazeneca opt-in vaccination drive will be from May 23 to May 26.
Around 25,000 people who had previously registered for the first phase of the programme and were on waiting list, would also be given priority for phase two of the vaccination programme, as well as the elderly.
He added that district health offices would also conduct registration for senior citizen in their respective areas.
