Puchong is set to welcome its first internationally branded five-star hotel following a formal signing ceremony between IOI Properties Group Bhd (IOIPG) and Marriott International. The Westin Puchong will be built at IOI Rio City in Bandar Puteri Puchong with an investment of nearly RM500 million, targeting a completion date by mid-2030.
The upcoming hotel forms a key part of Phase 1 of the IOI Rio City town centre, which also features IOI Mall Rio—a lifestyle shopping mall development costing over RM1 billion with more than 92,903 sq metres (1 million sq ft) of net lettable area.
