Puchong-Based EGH International Targets RM38.4 Million From IPO

Puchong-based EGH International Bhd (EGHI) is planning to raise RM38.4 million through a new share issuance as the company prepares for a proposed listing on Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market.

The company is a turnkey interior fit-out specialist and also supplies furniture, fittings, equipment and building materials.

:money_bag: What Will the IPO Funds Be Used For?

A significant portion of the IPO proceeds will be used to expand EGHI’s operations in Puchong.

The company plans to construct a:

  • Five-storey industrial building
  • Approximately 2.67 acres of land
  • Around 130,000 sq ft of built-up area
  • New head office
  • Warehouse
  • Interior Premium Outlet showroom

The expansion is intended to support larger project volumes and strengthen the company’s retail operations.

EGHI has completed more than 200 projects over the past 15 years, including projects involving:

  • More than 57 hotels and resorts
  • 19 healthcare facilities
  • 3 educational institutions
  • 5 airport lounges

Its projects span Malaysia, Cambodia, India and Hong Kong.

:chart_increasing: IPO Details

The proposed IPO involves 360 million shares at 16 sen per share, consisting of:

  • 240 million new shares
  • 120 million existing shares offered for sale
  • RM38.4 million expected gross proceeds from the new shares

Part of the funds will also be used to repay borrowings, support working capital and cover listing expenses.

IPO applications opened on 24 September 2026 and are scheduled to close on 5 October 2026. The proposed ACE Market listing is targeted for 16 October 2026, subject to change.

:round_pushpin: Why This Matters to Puchong

This is notable for the local economy because a Puchong-based company is planning a substantial expansion within Puchong itself.

The new headquarters, warehouse and showroom could increase business activity around the area while supporting the company’s future expansion in interior fit-out, furniture and building-related services.

What do you think?

Do you think the expansion of local companies like EGHI could create more business opportunities for Puchong’s commercial and industrial areas?
