(Petaling Jaya, 22th) Deductions based on electricity usage rates per month began in April this year.
Below Prihatin Rakyat Economic Stimulus Package (PRIHATIN), government announced on 27 March 2020 that discount begin on April 1 till September 30 2020. The discount rate is between 2% to 50% depending on the amount of electricity used.

For example, if the monthly electricity consumption is 300kWh then you will get a 25% discount on electric bill.
RM77.00 - RM19.25 = RM57.75
Electric bill - (Discount: 25% x RM77) = Final bill
Therefore, from April to September, if the monthly electricity consumption is kept below 200kWh, you will enjoy a 50% discount for electric bill.
