Police are searching for the driver of a Proton X70 after a viral video captured the vehicle weaving dangerously through traffic on the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) before crashing into a BMW.
The incident occurred at around 5pm as traffic was moving slowly from Puchong towards Subang Jaya. According to police, the Proton X70 collided with the rear of a BMW after attempting to navigate through congested traffic at high speed.
Fortunately, both drivers escaped the incident without injuries. However, the driver of the Proton X70 has yet to file a police report, and authorities are working to identify and locate the individual.
The viral footage has sparked discussions on reckless driving and road safety, with police reminding motorists to drive responsibly and avoid dangerous manoeuvres that could put other road users at risk.
