Enforcement action was taken in Puchong as the Subang Jaya City Council demolished an illegal guardhouse in Taman Tasik Prima during a joint operation.
According to Subang Jaya mayor Amirul Azizan Abd Rahim, the structure was built on a road reserve along Persiaran Tasik Prima 4 without a Temporary Occupation Licence (TOL). The council also did not approve the gated-and-guarded scheme as it failed to meet the required guidelines.
Authorities explained that any residents’ association planning to implement such a scheme must first obtain a TOL from the land office and secure at least 75% consent from affected households before approval can be granted.
The demolition highlights ongoing efforts by MBSJ to enforce regulations and ensure that developments within residential areas comply with legal requirements.
In a separate announcement, MBSJ also revealed the winners of its assessment tax lucky draw campaign, where participants who made timely payments via DuitNow QR stood a chance to win gold prizes. The initiative saw strong participation, reflecting increased public engagement in digital payment methods.
