In conjunction with the upcoming National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations, the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has officially launched its annual National Flag-Waving Campaign (Kempen Kibar Jalur Gemilang) for 2026. The council is inviting all residents living within the MBSJ administration area—including landed properties, high-rise condominiums, apartments, and traditional village houses—to proudly display the Jalur Gemilang to foster a strong sense of patriotism and community spirit.

Campaign Registration Period: August 1, 2026, until August 21, 2026.

Flag-Waving Duration: August 1, 2026, to September 16, 2026.

How to Participate:

Display at least one (1) Jalur Gemilang correctly and respectfully at your premises.

Take a selfie or photo featuring yourself alongside the displayed flag (strictly no AI-generated images allowed).

Upload the photo to your personal social media accounts using the official hashtags: #MBSJxSubangParade, #HKHM2026, and #MalaysiaMADANI.

Follow MBSJ’s official social media platforms and submit the online registration form complete with your social media post link.

Lucky Draw: 30 lucky draw prizes are up for grabs for participants who meet all requirements (limited to one prize per household).

Most Cheerful & Patriotic Home Category: 10 winning households will be selected based on creative decoration and proper flag-display protocols.

Prizegiving Ceremony: Winners will be announced and prizes awarded on September 13, 2026.

This campaign is a wonderful opportunity for Puchong and Subang Jaya residents to come together, beautify our neighborhoods, and show our national pride. Not only does it spruce up our residential streets for Merdeka, but it also gives community members a chance to win attractive prizes just for decorating their homes.
