PETALING JAYA – A tenant experienced a moment of panic when a man believed to be under the influence of drugs acted aggressively and knocked on her house door in Puchong late last night.
The incident, which occurred at around 10:50 p.m., was shared by a Threads user, are_zamm_ , who claimed that the man tried to enter her rented home while she was with her family, including a baby.
“My house has a baby, I was really scared. I don’t know if he was drunk or high on mushrooms,” she said.
According to her, the man also claimed that he was being chased and that someone allegedly wanted to shoot him. The suspect also acted out of control, attempting to climb onto a vehicle and damaging a shoe rack in front of the house.
It is understood that police who arrived at the scene informed her that the man was believed to be in a delirious state due to consuming an illegal substance known as ‘mushroom’ (psychedelic mushrooms).
The post also drew reactions from the public, who expressed concern over the spread of such dangerous substances.
“When it affects the brain, he starts seeing all sorts of things, even feeling like someone is chasing him,” said dxnashfx .
