KUALA LUMPUR: Light rail transit (LRT) services at four stations along the Ampang/Sri Petaling line were disrupted this eveing after a passenger fell onto the tracks.
Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd said trains from Putra Heights are operating only up to Puchong Perdana, while trains from Sentul Timur are turning back at Kinrara BK5.
Train services are temporarily suspended at Bandar Puteri, Taman Perindustrian Puchong, Pusat Bandar Puchong, and IOI Puchong Jaya stations.
As an alternative, free shuttle buses have been activated between Puchong Perdana and Kinrara BK5. Rapid Rail said emergency responders were deployed to the scene immediately, and updates will be provided via official social media channels and station announcements.
The operator advised commuters to plan their journeys and follow instructions from on-site staff during the disruption.
The man, who fell onto the tracks at the Pusat Bandar Puchong station this evening, died.
