Nov 16 A man died when his motorcycle was struck by a car at a traffic light intersection in Jalan Persiaran Putra Perdana, Subang Jaya.
The 5pm incident occurred when a Perodua Axia rear-ended the motorcycle.
The car driver was unhurt. The driver, who was detained for a day and later released on bail, tested negative for alcohol intoxication or drugs. Dashcam footage of the incident went viral on social media.
Nov 16 A man, 37, and his wife were killed when their motorcycle was rammed by a car running a red light in Jalan Besar/Jalan Mesjid in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The couple died at the scene.
Police said the car was travelling from Jalan Besar towards the Pasir Gudang Highway. The couple were headed for Pasir Gudang.
The driver, 34, was believed to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the police.
Oct 25 A dashcam video showing a hit-and-run involving a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and bicycle at a traffic light junction in Batu 14, Puchong, went viral.
As other vehicles stopped at the junction when the traffic light flashed yellow, the white SUV is seen crashing into the cyclist, who was making a right turn.
Sept 23 Factory worker Muhammad Hairul Nizam Mat Sahat, 20, died after running a red light on his motorcycle and crashing into an SUV in Krubong, Melaka.
The SUV, travelling from Tanah Merah to Taman Kerubong, stopped at a traffic light and continued its journey when the light turned green. However, Hairul, who ran the red light, smashed into the vehicle.
Aug 8 A video of a motorcyclist running a red light and colliding with another motorcyclist who was crossing a traffic light intersection in Gombak went viral on social media.
The dashcam video posted on X showed a motorcyclist speeding, disregarding the red traffic light before crashing into another motorcyclist.
July 25 A husband and wife were killed while their two children were seriously injured when the car they were in was hit by a four-wheel-drive that is believed to have run a red light near the Central Spine Road traffic light junction at Km350 of Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Kota Baru.
