As Huawei continues to work hard at improving its AppGallery, it rewards users with not-to-be missed surprises.
Surprise #1: RM5 cashback for first 10,000 downloads of Penang Smart Parking app
To celebrate the addition of the Penang Smart Parking app to its AppGallery, Huawei is offering RM5 cashback and other attractive rewards to the first 10,000 users who download the app from the Huawei AppGallery.
This RM5 cashback voucher can be redeemed via the Huawei Gift Centre. You can easily redeem the reward by following these easy steps:

Install the Penang Smart Parking app from the Huawei AppGallery.

Go back to Huawei AppGallery and go to Gift Centre.

Tap on the Penang Smart Parking banner and copy the code.

Key in the code in the Penang Smart Parking app and redeem your RM5 cashback.
Other apps that have been recently added to the Huawei AppGallery include Tealive, Setel, My U Mobile, Prudential Pulse and Pos Malaysia.
Surprise #2: Get up to 2,068GB of cloud storage on Huawei Cloud
If you are using a Huawei device that runs on EMUI 5.1 and above, you are entitled to a one-month (30 days) free trial of Huawei Cloud, with storage space up to 2,068GB. You can also opt for a one-month free trial of storage space options of 50GB.

Surprise #3: Petal Search Widget – one stop to find all the apps you need

As a Huawei user, you can also install an app called “Petal Search Widget” that you can use to find apps that are not currently available on Huawei AppGallery, and install them directly on your device.
Here are the simple steps to follow, to add the Petal Search Widget on your home screen as well as to update the apps.
Adding Petal Search Widget to your phone’s home screen:

Open AppGallery on your device.

Search for Petal Search Widget and install it.

Pinch together two fingers on the home screen to access the Home Screen editor.

Select Widgets, then swipe left to view all widgets.

Touch the Petal Search Widget to add it to the home screen.

To update the Apps in Petal Search Widget:

Select “Me” at the bottom right in Petal Search App.

Select Downloads and choose the Updates.

Click on the Apps that needs to be updated.
