A Hidden Gem in Puchong – Holiao Noodles 
If you’re a fan of traditional flavors and comforting local eats, Holiao Noodles in Puchong is one spot you shouldn’t miss! I recently visited their newest branch – yes, it’s actually their 6th outlet already – and I was blown away by how satisfying and nostalgic the meal was.
The Star of the Show: Lard & Minced Pork Noodles
The highlight of my meal? Definitely their noodles with crispy pork lard and minced meat. It instantly brought me back to my childhood – that classic, old-school flavor that’s getting harder to find these days. 
The noodles were perfectly springy and flavorful, but what made the dish next level was their homemade chili sauce. It wasn’t overly spicy, but had just the right kick to bring everything together. Add in the crunchy bits of pork lard? Chef’s kiss. 
The portion size was just nice too – not too much, not too little. I’d say it filled me up to a good 70-80% full, which is great because it leaves room to enjoy their sides or a refreshing drink!
Simple But Satisfying Drinks
They don’t have a big drink menu – in fact, you’ll only find cold drinks here – but honestly, it works. The drink I got was surprisingly big in size and super refreshing, which paired perfectly with the savory noodles.
The Only Downside? Parking.
Okay, let’s be real – parking in Puchong is always a bit of a challenge, and Holiao is no exception. This isn’t really the shop’s fault, just one of those area things. If you don’t mind circling around for a spot, it’s definitely worth it.
