MBSJ has taken enforcement action against heavy vehicles found parked illegally and causing traffic disruption in several areas around Puchong and Subang Jaya.
Several lorries, including earth lorries and trailer units, were issued compound notices, while some vehicles were towed during the operation.
The enforcement operation covered locations including Jalan Persiaran Puchong Permai and Jalan Prima Utama 3, Puchong Jaya, as well as several roads in USJ.
MBSJ reminded operators that heavy vehicles carrying more than two metric tonnes are not permitted to enter residential areas without council permission. The council also said enforcement would continue to improve traffic flow and road-user safety.
For Puchong residents, this is a useful reminder to be cautious around roads where illegally parked heavy vehicles may obstruct traffic, particularly in residential and commercial areas.
