Heavy rain and strong winds on Thursday evening caused several trees to topple across Puchong, including incidents involving three vehicles at two separate locations.
According to the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia, emergency calls began coming in around 3pm before rescue teams were dispatched to affected areas.
Among the locations involved were Jalan Helang 15 in Bandar Puchong Jaya and Kompleks Suria Kinrara Seksyen 3. Fallen trees reportedly crushed several parked vehicles following the sudden storm.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incidents.
The situation highlights the dangers of unpredictable weather conditions during heavy storms, especially in areas with large roadside trees. Residents and motorists are advised to remain cautious during bad weather and avoid parking near trees whenever possible.
