Fatal Shooting Claims Life in Puchong Prima: Victim Pronounced Dead at the Scene

KUALA LUMPUR: In a tragic incident this afternoon, a man was found shot dead inside a car on the road shoulder in Puchong Prima. Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the incident but provided no details about the victim or the shooter. Investigations revealed that the deceased, a local individual with a history of seven criminal and drug-related offenses, was shot during a shootout with a police officer from the Subang Jaya police headquarters. The incident unfolded in front of the Sri Acasia apartment in Taman Puchong Prima at 3:49 pm.

A police forensic team collected evidence from the scene, and the victim’s body was later transported from the location. Hussein urged those with information to contact the Subang Jaya police headquarters and cautioned against sharing a viral video clip of the incident on social media, citing potential community unrest.
