SUBANG JAYA, July 22 – Police have arrested four men after a street altercation led to a man being forcibly pushed into a lorry container on Tuesday evening.
The incident, which occurred in Puchong, was captured on video and quickly spread on social media, drawing public attention. In the footage, several individuals were seen confronting the victim before forcing him into the back of a lorry.
Subang Jaya police confirmed that four suspects have been detained to assist in investigations. The case is being investigated under provisions related to abduction and unlawful confinement.
Authorities have urged witnesses or anyone with further information about the altercation to come forward and assist with the investigation.
Police said the safety of the public remains a priority, and stern action will be taken against those involved in violent or unlawful acts.
The case is being investigated under Section 365 of the Penal Code (wrongful confinement), Section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and Section 43 of the Societies Act 1966.
Authorities are actively tracking down any remaining accomplices connected to the case.
