Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat says a post-mortem revealed the cause of death as ‘multiple sharp force trauma’ to the head and neck.

PETALING JAYA:

Police have recorded statements from six people to assist in an investigation into the murder of an elderly man at a house in Kampung Baru Puchong, near here, last Thursday.

Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said they were establishing the motive and the weapon used, Bernama reported.

“The post-mortem revealed that the cause of death was ‘multiple sharp force trauma’ to the head and neck.

“The investigation also found that the victim’s mobile phone was missing,” he said in a statement today.

Last Thursday, the body of a man in his 70s, with injuries to the head, ears and back of the body, was found at a house in Kampung Baru Puchong.

This came after a resident detected a foul odour coming from the victim’s house.
