(Kuala Lumpur, 16) - A Chinese man jumped from the building of the IOI shopping center in Puchong early this morning and was eventually killed on the spot.

Assistant Superintendent Ambaragan, the director of the Sutton Police District, said that the police received a report from the auxiliary police on duty at the shopping center at 1:55 a.m. today that an unidentified man had jumped to his death from the parking lot and sent officers to the scene to investigate.

“After the investigation found that the man jumped from the ground about 50 feet above the location, and the police also found after that in the top floor parking lot believed to belong to the deceased silver second domestic Bezza car.”

He said the deceased was confirmed to be a 35-year-old single man living in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, and based on the case does not involve criminal elements, so the police have now classified the case as a sudden death case.

“The body of the deceased will be sent to the hospital for autopsy procedures after the results of quarantine procedures.”

On the other hand, Anbaragan urged people facing any personal or emotional stress problems to seek advice and counseling to solve their problems instead of resorting to drastic actions such as suicide.
