KUALA LUMPUR: Fresh off its recent listing on the ACE Market in Bursa Malaysia, BMS Holdings Bhd, an established Malaysian retailer and distributor of tiles, stone surfaces, bathware and kitchenware under the Jubin BMS brand, has executed its growth strategy with the opening of a new retail showroom in Puchong, marking another milestone in the group’s nationwide expansion strategy.
The newly opened Puchong retail showroom, located in Kinrara, spans 6,481.26 square feet and is strategically positioned to service high-density residential and commercial areas in Puchong, Sunway, and Bukit Jalil.
Established home furnishing and automotive brands surround the location, offering strong commercial visibility and convenient accessibility with ample parking.
The area’s balanced mix of new developments and mature housing estates positions the showroom well to capture consistent homeowner and renovation-driven demand.
Retail showrooms operate on a rental basis and aim to provide a spacious, organised, and customer-centric showroom experience.
Commenting on the openings, BMS Holdings managing director Ang Kwee Peng said the Puchong retail showroom reflects the group’s disciplined expansion approach, which is focused on location quality, customer accessibility, and long-term market potential.
“This new retail showroom strengthens BMS Holdings’ presence in two of the Klang Valley’s most active home improvement corridors, while reinforcing our commitment to delivering an enhanced retail experience and deepening engagement with both homeowners and professional customers as BMS Holdings continues to scale its national footprint,” he said in a statement.
To drive initial traction, BMS Holdings has rolled out targeted opening-period promotions, weekend activities and customer engagement initiatives aimed at attracting homeowners, while complimentary coffee offerings are being used as a touchpoint to onboard interior designers and contractors into the group’s loyalty programme.
These physical strategies are complemented by a multi-channel marketing approach, ensuring strong digital visibility across Google search, Google Maps and major social media platforms to capture both planned and walk-in demand.
The opening of the retail showroom marks the early execution of BMS Holdings’ retail expansion plan as set out in its prospectus, which comprises both the progressive rollout of seven new retail showrooms in the Klang Valley between 2026 and 2028, as well as the development of a purpose-built retail showroom with a storage facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
Following Shah Alam, the group has already secured an owned site in Rawang for a future Klang Valley outlet, while construction of the Seremban retail showroom is expected to progress in line with the group’s stated timeline.
The planned Klang Valley retail expansion is estimated to cost RM36.5 million, of which RM9.7 million is expected to be funded through IPO proceeds, with the balance to be financed through internally generated funds and bank borrowings.
In addition, the Seremban retail showroom is estimated to cost RM10.5 million, supported by RM3.3 million from IPO proceeds and the remainder from internally generated funds and bank borrowings.
Looking ahead, BMS Holdings will continue to adopt a disciplined and data-driven approach to retail expansion, prioritising strategic locations with strong demand fundamentals and long-term sustainability.
The group remains focused on optimising showroom productivity, strengthening brand visibility and enhancing customer engagement across both physical and digital touchpoints.
As a newly listed company, BMS Holdings is committed to prudent capital management and consistent execution as it advances its growth plans and builds enduring value for shareholders.
