The force of the impact drove a section of the guardrail straight through the car’s rear, slicing through the passenger compartment and leaving mangled wreckage sprawled across the roadside.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said they received a distress call at 10.15pm.
"A team of eight firefighters from the Puchong Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene nine minutes later.
“The sedan had lost control before crashing into the divider near a petrol station in Kampung Baru Puchong,” he said when contacted today.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry personnel, he said.
Two other victims, men aged 49 and 21, suffered minor injuries.
“The injured were given first aid before being handed over to paramedics, while police took over the body of the deceased for further action,” he said.
The violent crash left twisted metal strewn across the lane, with the Bezza pinned to the divider under the glare of emergency lights.
The operation, which involved one Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and one Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit, concluded after the vehicle was cleared from the scene.
