Malaysian pastry manufacturer RT Pastry Holdings Bhd has proposed acquiring two industrial land parcels in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, for **RM22 million**. The proposed acquisition is intended to support the company’s manufacturing expansion and prepare for growing demand for its pastry products.

### Key Details of the Acquisition

According to the company’s Bursa Malaysia announcement:

- **Company:** RT Pastry Holdings Bhd

- **Proposed purchase price:** RM22 million

- **Location:** Seri Kembangan, Selangor

- **Properties:** An existing factory with a three-storey office annex, together with an adjoining vacant industrial land parcel

- **Financing:** The company has accepted a RM28.78 million banking facility offer from RHB Islamic Bank.

### Why Does the Company Need More Space?

RT Pastry plans to use the additional manufacturing space to improve production workflow and accommodate new equipment, including deck ovens, mixers and other machinery.

The expansion is expected to increase its annual manufacturing capacity from approximately **2.55 million to 2.80 million pastry units**.

This represents an increase of around 250,000 units in annual production capacity.
