Puchong is becoming an increasingly important part of Selangor’s growing technology ecosystem, with recent efforts focused on connecting local companies with larger players in the semiconductor, data centre and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors.
A recent industry event held at Four Points by Sheraton Puchong brought together technology companies, government agencies, universities and research institutions to strengthen business connections and explore opportunities across the supply chain.
The initiative could create opportunities for smaller local businesses to:

The Malaysia Semiconductor IC Design Park in Puchong is also part of this wider development. The park has reached full occupancy, with 18 companies onboarded and more than 400 engineers working there, according to a recent report.
For Puchong entrepreneurs and SMEs, the development could mean more opportunities to connect with larger technology companies and participate in higher-value industries.
