Authorities are actively pursuing several individuals believed to be linked to a recent case involving mischief and criminal intimidation in Taman Kinrara, Puchong. The incident, which occurred last week, involved the burning of three vehicles, with a 47-year-old man reporting that he had been threatened.
Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar confirmed that efforts are ongoing to locate additional suspects who may assist in the investigation. He also noted that seven individuals who were previously detained have since been released on police bail.
Investigations are still in progress, and the case will be forwarded to the deputy public prosecutor once the investigation papers are completed. Earlier reports indicated that a total of 12 individuals, including a woman, were arrested in connection with the incident at the residence of Chandrasegaran, also known as “Cikgu Chandra.”
The suspects, aged between 30 and 40, were apprehended in several locations across Selangor, including Banting, Subang, and Serdang. Initial findings revealed that seven of them, including the alleged mastermind, were directly involved in carrying out the acts.
