Johor Sultan gives more cars to healthcare frontliners in Johor

JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has given brand new cars to Hospital Sultanah Aminah director and several of the Royal Ward employees here.

On his official Facebook page, the Sultan said that the cars were given to show appreciation for their dedication, commitment and professionalism in providing their services.

Hospital director Dr Mohtar Pungut @ Ahmad, emergency and trauma department medical officer Dr Ismail Jumali and cardiothoracic anesthesia unit medical officer Dr Mohd Firdaus Shamsuddin were each given a Proton X70.

Meanwhile, head nurse supervisor Sarinah Sukor and nurse supervisor Fauziah Sulaiman were each given a Perodua Myvi.

The cars were handed over on Wednesday (Nov 25) by Col Datuk Mohamed Perang Musa, who represented the Johor Sultan.

Dr Mohtar said that he was thankful for the car given to him.

“I pray that the Sultan and the Royal family remain healthy. We will continue to give our best service to the Sultan as well as the people of Johor,” he said to the Royal Press Office (RPO) after receiving the car.

Previously in September, the Sultan had also given brand new cars to ten nurses from the HSA as a token of appreciation.
